Prentiss and Frieda Carnell
Upon retirement at age 67 and 65, Prentiss and Frieda set out to reorganize their lives. Together, they realized that this was a great opportunity to revive talents and interests they had when they were younger, as well as to explore new activities.
Prentiss and Frieda's active lifestyle now includes a regular exercise routine, traveling across the country in their motor home, volunteering, playing music, and spending time with their grandchildren. They have embraced the Third Age with a vigor that is certainly inspirational to us all!
"Every day is a new experience" for Prentiss and Frieda, a dynamic couple with the right attitude for successful aging!

Ray Wielt
As a retired construction worker and private pilot, Ray faced a difficult reality. Although he now had all time he had always hoped for, on his limited income he could no longer afford his lifelong passion for building model airplanes. His appreciation for the gift of free time and a commitment to ingenuity motivated him to find a solution.
As Ray says, his hobbies "evolved" into something that he has the time for and that costs less. At age 82, Ray builds the models of steam engines he dreamed of assembling as a child. He spends his afternoons out in his workshop, without which, he says, "I'd be completely lost."
"My garage is a place that I can go and relax and enjoy and get lost in a world. You can go out there with my tools, you could, anything you can imagine you can build. If you can imagine it, you can build it out there." Ray's enthusiasm is just a bit of simple proof that imagination and creativity have no age limit!
